Love and Happy Easter!

Hi there! It's been ages, hasn't it?! Lots has changed for me over the past few months. We're now parents to a lovely little boy called James, so I'm taking a year long maternity leave!! I don't seem to have any free time (surprise, surprise!) so I've decided that this is going to be my last post on this blog.

Thank you to everyone for all the support, comments, inspiration and interest over the years and I'll let you know if I start up a new blog at some point in the future. I'm still Pinterest-ing occassionally, so maybe we can stay in touch here. Good luck with all your creative endeavours, big love, over and out! x x x x

Che Bello!

We went on our hols to Montaione, a small town with a great view and a lovely hotel (Una Palazzo Mannaioni) near Florence, a few weeks ago. It was amazing! Really hot and very relaxed; there was a pool, we went horse-riding for my first time ever, got involved in the local battle of the bands and, as you can see, there were snakes in a square in San Germignano - needless to say, I stroked a python.

The Purest Green

Apart from work, a lot's been going on my life over the past year or so and that includes a lot of DIY, trying to finally finish off our house. I now realise that will never happen completely, as it just never ends and there's always more you can do, so I'm happy to settle for a house that's sort of, almost there, and get a garden that's also sort of, almost there too.

It was really overgrown until a month or so ago, when we got a nice man called Jay to come and dig it up, re-turf it, take out some uncontrollable shrubs and prepare it for the large shed-office that's going to be built down the end of it this month. As you can see, as well as a potential veggie patch, we've got the newest, greenest grass! I've even planted some flowers and herbs, and been out there weeding every now and again. I don't know how long the enthusiasm will last, but for now, it's much fun.
