At the end of May, we stayed in a yurt in an amazing eco-resort near the small fishing village of Arrieta and I'm really missing it right now.
Everywhere you go on this beautiful volcanic island you can see the art, architecture and influence of the artist and ecologist Cesar Manrique who transformed natural landscapes into amazing public places that seamlessly integrate nature with art...
...including this amazing cactus garden. It was hot all the time too - it doesn't get much better than that.
